Competition Licence Course
In order to enroll in the IPSA Competition Licence Course you must first become a member of the IPSA. To be considered for membership of the association, an applicant must be in possession of a valid Firearm Certificate, for a firearm suitable for the shooting discipline as supported by the association.

Course Outline
This course contains a number of elements designed to give you, the sports shooter the basic information of what is required to help you pass this course and become ready to take part safely in your first competition
PART 1- Theory Pre-Read
The theory pre readis intended to be read in conjunction with the IPSC Handgun Rules and the Rules and Regulations of the IPSA. The IPSC Handgun Rules can be downloaded free here and the IPSA Rules and Regulations can be found here. Many references will be made to the rulebook in this document and it will not be possible to pass Part 1 without reading the IPSC competition rules handbook.

Successfully complete a sanctioned competition with no safety infringements. Once the Training Officer & the Range Officers of the match are satisfied that you've reached the required standard you will be awarded your competition licence
